National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS)

Bridging the skill gap between industry and aspiring youth through practical, hands-on training opportunities.

SDV was set up with the vision to provide opportunities to aspirants by imparting essential skills and knowledge through practical training, making them employable assets for organizations and society at large.

The NAPS scheme enables organizations to harness the power of skilled manpower through hands-on training in real-world industrial environments. Apprentices receive Basic + On-the-Job Training while industries benefit from ready-to-deploy talent.

  • ✅ Apprentices are not treated as workmen – no PF, ESI, Bonus, etc.
  • ✅ Approx. 29.38% cost savings vs. contract workers.
  • ✅ CSR funds can be used if hiring exceeds mandatory limits.

  • ✅ Apprentice ratio: 2.5% to 15% of total workforce allowed.
