National Employability Enhancement Mission (NEEM)
Launched by MOE-AICTE, the NEEM initiative aims to enhance employability through "on the job practical training" for students and individuals with technical or non-technical backgrounds.
The central government, through the Ministry of Education and AICTE, has launched the NEEM program to develop a competent workforce by bridging the gap between academics and industrial experience.
NEEM is based on the globally popular concept of “On the Job Practical Training,” targeting youth who are pursuing or have completed 12th, diploma, or graduation, with a focus on developing employable skills.
Key Features

- ✅ Age limit: 16 to 40 years.
- ✅ 3-year engagement with industry under OJT & Graduation Program.
- ✅ Fixed monthly stipend (no statutory deductions).
